FLASHBACK FRIDAY

Kya was always my silly little girl so here are some pics of her being silly when she was 1 years old!
Oh how i miss these days!! But she is still pretty silly except now she says funny things.. LOL!

My baby girl has started school.

Kya started preschool on Tuesday! She did pretty good that morning getting ready for school and eating her breakfast. She was so excited.. On the way there i said, "What happened to my baby, she is growing up?" She melted my heart when she replied back with "Mommy im still your baby, and i always will be!" When we got there and went in, she put down her backpack and lunch box in her cubby. And since we were pretty early, the teacher showed us where the kids wait for their teachers.. While we were waiting she ran over near the bathroom. So i asked her what was wrong. She said, "mommy, im not so sure about this!". I explained to her that she would be fine and mommy will be back to get her later. She continued to be nervous until the kids starting showing up.. And then she jumped right in to their conversations and i heard her say, "my name is Kya" alot. So once i got the ok from her i headed home. Auron had a tough day! He was lost without his sister.. He couldnt figure out how to play by himself. So he followed me around all day and just cried. I felt so bad for him.. But man was he happy when we went to get her.. Her teacher said she did okay, but she had a hard time transitioning to the next thing when they finished with something. Daniel decided to take her out for ice cream to celebrate her next step into being a big girl. AWWW.

This is when she wasnt too sure.
On Day # 2 she got dropped off at the curbside like all the kids do and the teachers take them in one at a time. She said "bye mom" and away she went. When i picked her up, the teacher said Kya had a hard time eating her lunch.. She was upset because she apparently didnt want to eat her meat.. she ate all her cheese. And wanted her pudding.. But the rule is, they have to eat some or most of their main food 1st before they can have dessert. The teacher gave Kya an additional 10 minutes to eat (they get 30min but Kya got 40) and she wouldnt.. So she didnt get dessert. But other than that she had a great day. She did better with the transitioning to the next.
Now today she is on Day #3 and i hope she does better today with everything.. Overall i think we have done the right thing. School was the right choice.

Auron is 2!! What a great Bday!

It all started last night; when Dan, Kya, and I each picked out one gift each for Auron! Kya had a hard time choosing since everything she saw, she wanted!! She kept forgetting that we were shopping for Auron. LOL, silly girl! Auron spotted a balloon on the way out and kept pointing and saying "Boon"! So of course Daddy bought it for him! And when He woke up this morning He was sooooo happy to see that balloon and began hitting it all over the place! :D He was not a happy camper when it got stuck on top of the fridge! Its my party i can cry if i want too!We spent the morning watching cartoons and ate breakfast and showered. Then we headed out for lunch! We went to outback and Auron said he wanted french fries and cheese so we ordered cheese fries as an appetizer. And Mac N Cheese for his lunch. He enjoyed that soooo much! Then of course we got the waiter to sing to him. He didnt do anything but smile but boy did he enjoy his ice cream!

Cheese Fries!!!Mac-N-Cheese!Ice Cream! After our wonderful lunch at Outback Steakhouse we headed up to Kangaroo Jac's! Because with all the engergy my son has, i knew he'd enjoy a place where he can literally bounce off the walls! He had a blast and so did Kya! It was a great choice for my baby! It was really cute when we were all done and Daddy and Auron relaxed in their recliners.. LOL! Auron's was kid sized! And we finished the day off with presents and playing til bath time and bed! Kya got him an inflatable fire truck ball pit. I got him a bath waterslide. And Daniel got him, his favorite, a football. Overall! It was a wonderful but exhausting day! And i hope it was all that Auron could ever hope for on his special day! I still cant believe my baby is 2!!!

FLASHBACK FRIDAY

Im going to go back to the 1st time that Kya met her brother!! She was so happy to finally have a little brother!! She kept saying that she wanted to hold him, so as soon as Mommy and brother got to come home we gave her a try.. Poor little Auron didnt know what to think of this Bigger little person squeezing his head off.. LOL!

Christmas was great, glad its over!

We had a pretty awesome christmas.. The kids and i baked and decorated cookies on Christmas eve morning while "daddy" was at work.. Then when he got home and after naps we headed down to Newport News to have Christmas Eve snacks and open presents with Grandma.. It was so nice to see the family again.. The kids have missed their Grandma so much!! So we had a nice evening. Then on Christmas morning.. Kya woke everyone up screaming, "Santa brought me a bike!!" "Auron you got one too". "mommy, daddy, come look!!" LoL it was so early since Dan and I were up all night putting those bikes together!! But it was worth it to see the priceless look on her face.. But she was more excited that Santa ate the cookies and drank all the milk.. After they opened all their presents we all got dressed and did our Christmas routine of breakfast at IHOP... The food was great but our service was really SLOW! Our server spent allot of time talking to the table next to us.. So we never got drink refills until we were done eating. After breakfast, Daniel, decided that we should start another tradition and go see a movie.. So we went and saw The Tale of Desperoux, It was a really cute movie.. The kids loved it. But they were happy to get back home and begin playing with all their new stuff!!! They got so much stuff, and to think Auron will be getting more stuff next week! :) Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas too!! Love you and God Bless!

we saw SANTA!

The kids and i went to a playdate at California Pizza Kitchen today at Short Pump Town Center in Richmond, VA. Auron was so proud of himself for making his own pizza! Kya loved it too! but for some reason would not touch a bite.

Since we were at the mall i decided to take them over to the playplace.. And Santa was there.. Kya asked if she could go see him. (Thank God i already got her the Pink Tag book pen). Thats what she asked him for. She also told him that Auron likes cars and trains.. LOL.. It was so cute the way that she thinks about her little brother too. While we waited in line the kids stuck their heads through one of those cut out things.. I had no idea that Auron's was a girl!!! Until after i took the picture!

We had a nice day and i met some really nice people here! But i still miss ALL my old friends! Making new ones can be hard!!
